Raptors

Eagles
This is “Alice” and “Allen” and they’ve successfully been pumping out baby eagles over the last 3-4 years. The photos of these mated pair of Bald Eagles aren’t exactly 100% clear, but one must take into account that I photographed them at more than 200 yards away, across a river, with a long 500mm camera lens. The wind was blowing, causing the eagles to sway on the branches they were perched and shaking my camera lens. They are what they are. Nevertheless, I have had several photos of these beautiful raptors published in several local NJ newspapers. They’re the talk of the area that they’ve taken up residence in, considering they’re in a heavily human populated area. Its a positive sign that the clean water act of NJ was worth it.
*Note: these images were shot all shot on the same occasion.
